Story
Fondée en 2018 par Jean-Christophe Petillault, architecte diplômé HMONP de l’École Spéciale d’Architecture en 2017, JCPCDR Architecture développe des projets pluridisciplinaires en France et à l’international.
L’agence intervient dans des contextes et des programmes variés, en concevant chaque projet comme une réponse spécifique à un lieu, à son histoire et aux personnes qui l’habitent. Plutôt que d’imposer un style unique, JCPCDR Architecture privilégie une écriture architecturale sensible et adaptable, nourrie par l’identité propre de chaque environnement.
Le travail de l’agence a été distingué par plusieurs prix internationaux, notamment à deux reprises lors des Best of Year Awards à New York.
En 2025, Jean-Christophe Petillault fonde JCPCDR Design et entreprend le développement d’une collection de mobilier et d’objets de décoration. Cette nouvelle activité prolonge la démarche de l’agence à travers une approche globale, allant de l’architecture à l’aménagement intérieur, jusqu’au dessin des objets.
Founded in 2018 by Jean-Christophe Petillault, an HMONP-certified architect who graduated from the École Spéciale d’Architecture in 2017, JCPCDR Architecture develops multidisciplinary projects in France and internationally.
The studio works across a wide range of contexts and programmes, approaching each project as a specific response to a place, its history, and the people who inhabit it. Rather than imposing a single signature style, JCPCDR Architecture favours a sensitive and adaptable architectural language, shaped by the unique identity of each environment.
The studio’s work has received several international awards, including two Best of Year Awards in New York.
In 2025, Jean-Christophe Petillault founded JCPCDR Design and began developing a collection of furniture and decorative objects. This new venture extends the studio’s approach through a comprehensive vision, spanning architecture, interior design, furniture, and objects.

Les nouveaux outils technologiques qui ont transformé le métier, et les enjeux liés au changement climatique ainsi qu’à l’écologie amènent l'architecte à repenser son métier et envisager l'avenir avec une grande honneteté. New technological tools, climate change and ecological crisis… bring the architect to rethink his profession and think about the future with genuine honesty.
